KABOOM
Is not the sound that you want to hear when you jump start your van. Not ever. And smoke coming out of the engine afterwards is also not good.
This is what happened last night after 16 days of not driving the van. Let me just say, a brand new battery is not supposed to die after 20 days. Something is not right. And no, DH did not cross the jumper cables. It was something else in the engine, and he hasn't been able to figure out what. The kicker - we paid for only a day's insurance for today for it to go through aircare and get proper insurance today. Can you say $33.50 down the toilet? Needless to say, I am officially housebound. There is no way in H-E double hockey sticks that I am taking a newborn, an almost three year old, and my still very sore body on a bus, or on any kind of long walk any time soon.
So those bloggers that live nearby, feel free to stop on by - I'll be insane by the end of the week, easily. Geez, probably by the end of the day considering I had about an hour and a half sleep last night. In addition to the new baby feeding schedule, DS is sick, runny nose, cough, etc, and has been waking up at least twice a night - and of course at different times than his sister!! Fun times at our house.
