been gone so long
that's an eighty's song isn't it? LOL. I've been gone so long I was shocked three people had viewed my last entry. Life goes so fast sometimes, and computer time for me goes out the window - what little of it I have these days I'm usually on facebook finding old and current friends. The month of May was spent getting the house ready to list - painting, decluttering, etc. We have since sold (after 31 showings in just over 3 weeks) for more than asking, thank you. It took us that long (and a little longer) to find something we actually like, so moving day will be the 31st/1st of July/August.
So now it's on to packing. Of which we did a crapload of this weekend, so I'm a little over-exhausted. Oh well, it feels good. Not that I can get much done without hubby here, so I'll just recoup the next couple days, then pack a ton next weekend. Besides, we have a friend coming to visit one or two days this week from Australia (his parents live an hour and a bit from us, he's not just flying in for two days!) We haven't seen him in two years, so it'll be great. A nice little break from the chaos.
The doctors still aren't sure what's going on with me. I went to an Opthamologist, who says I don't have the eye component of Bechet's disease, but I am definitely displaying symptoms (to do with my eyes) that are common among many Autoimmune Diseases. My family doc says that even though I don't have the eye disease, it doesn't rule out Bechet's, so he's sending me to a Rhuemetologist, and he thinks I may have arthritis in my back. Oh, and I also stress fractured my foot. Which doesn't seem to want to heal. Whatever. It's almost to the point that I have pain and I go eh, whatever. Sometimes I take painkillers, sometimes I just suffer cause I can't be bothered. That, and if the pain is numbed I overdo it and make it worse, so I'd often rather suffer.
I think I'll just book a week in the hot tub and a couple massages for after we move.
